Mobile Stages for Concerts & Tours: Headliner-Grade Roofs and Decks

A headline act brings a production rider, a crew that expects to load in on time, and an audience that expects a show. The stage underneath all of it has to carry the rig, survive the weather and go up fast enough to keep the day on schedule. That is exactly what APEX hydraulic mobile stages are built for.

What a Headliner Stage Has to Carry

Touring productions fly line array audio, lighting trusses and LED video walls from the roof. APEX roofs are engineered for those loads, with published capacities for every beam, flybay and column, so production managers can plan the rig before the trucks roll.

  • APEX 5040 GEN3 — 50′ × 40′ deck and a 102,000 lb load rating, the highest in its class, for festival headliners and arena-scale shows.
  • APEX 4240 GEN3 — 42′ × 40′ deck with a roof structure rated to 97,600 lbs, built for major concerts.
  • APEX 3224 — 32′ × 24′ deck for full bands and regional touring acts, basic setup in about an hour and a half.

Fast Load-In, Clean Strike

Every APEX unit is a self-contained hydraulic trailer stage. The roof and deck unfold hydraulically, so the stage is ready for production in a fraction of the time a conventional scaffold build takes. That leaves more of the day for audio, lighting and line checks.

Plan the Rig Before Show Day

Use our APEX rigging calculators to check each hanging point against the roof rating, and download the engineering spec sheet for your model. Our team reviews the plot with your production manager before load-in.
