A modern show hangs a lot of weight overhead: line array audio, lighting trusses, moving lights, LED video walls and motors. A mobile stage is only as useful as the load its roof can safely carry — and how clearly that load is documented. Every APEX model comes with engineered, published ratings so production teams can plan the rig with confidence.

Published Ratings by Model
- APEX 5040 GEN3 — 102,000 lb load rating, the highest in its class, with an overhead beam system designed to eliminate traditional no-fly zones.
- APEX 4240 GEN3 — roof structure rated to 97,600 lbs; columns and towers rated to 144,000 lbs combined (16,000 lbs on each corner tower and 40,000 lbs on each mast column).
- APEX 2016 — 800 lbs on each flybay with 3,400 lbs total roof capacity, a strong rating for a compact stage.
Beam-by-Beam Capacities
The engineering spec sheets go further than a single number. On the 4240 GEN3, for example, every member is rated individually — upstage and downstage beams, spanners, trusses, slide-out frames, PA beams and side extension beams — with notes on which loads are subtracted from their supporting members. That level of detail lets riggers place each point correctly.
